The river has large brown trout, salmon
in season (February through April),
eels, fresh water crayfish... and
even yellow eyed mullet can be found
feeding on the weed.
We do not charge 'extra' to fish the
river. As our guest, you are welcome
to stroll the river and fish. There
is always a rod set up and ready to
go with a pair of bolle polaroids
to make it easy to spot the fish.
Fully self contained, and adjacent to the house, The
Loft is only 30 metres to the river.
Deano and Becs have stayed in many types of accommodation
during their travels, so they know what it takes to impress! The Loft
has been fitted out with quality furniture, linen and kitchenware.
The main area in
The Loft features a beautifully appointed
studio kitchen (complete with ceramic
cooktop, microwave, fridge and a dish
drawer), and a relaxing, stylishly
decorated living area.
Double doors open
onto your own balcony, with table
and chairs to dine al fresco during
the warmer months!
The bedroom features
a queen size bed, and crisp cotton
linen. There is a comfortable fold
out double bed, (a single bed is also
available) in the lounge for additional
guests.
The bathroom opens
off the bedroom, has soft warm towels,
and an outlook over a paddock full
of horses (and a resident black bunny
rabbit). The Loft is a very comfortable
home away from home!
There is a washing machine and dryer for guests of The Loft to use at no extra charge. Computer and internet access, a stereo and TV/Sky TV is available also. For further information, and breakdown of the facilities ensure you click here to see the Aldabrook website. |
